Experience

Since 2004, Mary E. Work, Esq. has been in private practice advising and representing clients who face licensing or regulatory problems.  All professional licensing matters in the State of California, except for State Bar matters, are subject to an administrative hearing process before the Office of Administrative Hearings.  In private practice Mary E. Work, Esq. has represented hundreds clients facing the denial of, or discipline of, their professional or occupational license.  Before beginning private practice Mary E. Work, Esq. acquired the following experience:

  • State of California, Department of Real Estate prosecutor; prosecuted hundreds of cases for the Department and presented more than 100 cases at trial before the Office of Administrative Hearings.
  • Department of Industrial Relations Hearing Officer.
  • Private Civil Litigation Practice from 1995-1998.
  • Over ten years experience as a mediator.
